Egypt and Sudan present two case studies that highlight both the promise and challenges of expanding financial inclusion through the implementation of mobile payment solutions. While Egypt’s mobile payment sector has demonstrated significant growth, Sudan’s progress continues to be hindered by political conflict and instability.
